I know it's been out for a while now, but for those of you who have seen it, what did you think of Fade to Black?
I personally prefer Diamond Dust Rebellion, for obvious reasons! But it wasn't too bad...Hitsugaya's cry of 'I DON'T REMEMBER YOU!' saved the film for me!

As promised here are my favourite pieces from the three Art section winners from our recent Summer Contest!



My top 3 pieces from 's gallery (not including Watermelon Bankai which is my ultimate fave!) are:


1. 'Robotic Kitty Tail Girl' - [link]
I think the way this deviation has been coloured is amazing! I am a traditional artist myself, and it's so difficult to get the colouring so perfect as this! If you are colouring on..say photoshop, if you go wrong you can just click 'undo'! However one wrong stroke of colour can be fatal when it comes to traditional art! But this is flawless - just gorgeous!

2. '1 Malaysia' - [link]
I love how unique this is, and how different it is from everything else in her gallery! I think the background really helps set the peaceful mood which (I thinkkk) the campaign her school was holding was all about - to encourage peace! ^^ I love the tapir and the shafts of sunlight especially!

3. 'Kuchiki Rukia First Dance' - [link]
FreezingFeathers fanart aren't the only great thing in her gallery - her photographs are too! I love this one featuring Rukia and this kind of beautiful vapor! I like the composition - it really does remind me of her ice powers!




My top 2 pieces from 's gallery are:


1. 'Atsumi My Zanpaku-to' - Atsumi my zanpaku-to
Cor I love the blending of colours that make Atsumi! It's absolutely beautiful! I love those fiery head feathers/plummage! And the eyes look really deep and full of wisdom...must be a clever zanpakuto!

2. 'Me in Gorillaz Style' - [link]
I love the expression on this Gorillaz style l-Dayne-l! It cracks me up Also I think its a testiment to what a great piece of art this is that she has got the style so spot-on that you immediately know that it was inspired by the Gorillaz awesome visuals!





My Favourite piece from 's gallery is:


1. 'Hiyori Sarugaki' - [link]
This is the spitting image of Hiyori! For an artist who claims she is still improving, I think this is great! Her expression is great - really symbolises her fiery attitude! And the shading of her hair is well done too!

It's that time again!


It's about time that we had a proper contest which isn't delayed months and months!

The theme is watermelon! You all know how much Toshiro Hitsugaya loves it, so it is up to you guys to come up with a picture/story featuring the taicho with his favourite fruit! The more creative the better!

Both pictures and short fan-fics are welcome! All mediums too! The contest won't be judged on drawing skills, but more of the creativeness of the idea! So you shy artists have no excuses!

There will be three winners!

First place will have it's entry as the club's featured deviation and I will choose my three favourite pieces from their gallery and they will be featured within the toushiro-hitsugaya club's journal! PLUS A free commission featuring Hitsugaya from talented artist ~FF-Boy!
